Water and fertilizer integrated technology refers to a new agricultural technology that integrates irrigation and fertilization. Water and fertilizer integration utilizes a pressure system (or natural topographic differences) to deliver a mixture of irrigation water and soluble solid or liquid fertilizers, formulated according to soil nutrient content and crop-specific fertilization requirements, through a pipeline system to the root zone of the crops accurately and evenly.
1. Fertilization Process:
First, add the prepared fertilizer solution to the fertilizer tank. Turn on the main water pump and adjust the valve to fill the tank with water. Then close the water inlet valve (the irrigation valve can remain open during this process). During fertilization, adjust the required fertilization time using the "time knob" in the control cabinet. The injection pump starts, and the fertilizer in the tank is injected into the main water pipe through the injection pump. Fertilization is completed simultaneously with watering. The injection flow rate can be adjusted by the "graduated adjustment valve". During this process, the injection pump's pressure control will automatically start and stop the water pump according to the water pressure, ensuring uniform injection of the fertilizer solution into the farmland and protecting the injection pump.
2. Water Pump Start/Stop Control:
Both the main water pump and injection pump can be controlled using the "time knob" to adjust the equipment operating time. They will automatically stop after the specified time. A pressure control device is installed at the equipment's water inlet. When the pipeline is blocked (such as a clogged filter), the pressure in the pipeline becomes too high and the main water pump will automatically shut off. The fertilization tank is equipped with a liquid level sensor that will automatically cut off the power to the injection pump when the fertilizer in the tank is depleted. Both of these designs protect the water pumps.
3. System Filtration:
This equipment has a two-layer filtration design. A filter is installed at the outlet of the fertilizer tank to filter the fertilizer solution. A filter is also installed at the equipment outlet for secondary filtration of the entire water-fertilizer mixture.
4. Equipment Check Valve:
A one-way check valve is installed at the equipment's water inlet to prevent backflow of the fertilizer water from contaminating the groundwater. A one-way check valve is also installed in the fertilizer tank outlet pipe to prevent backflow from the main pipeline, ensuring the normal operation of the fertilization process.
5. Flow Rate Statistics:
An electronic flow meter is installed at the equipment outlet to count the single or cumulative water and fertilizer volume.
6. System Slag Removal:
A slag discharge port is provided on the side and bottom of the fertilization tank for slag removal and cleaning of the fertilization tank.
