Problems easily caused by substandard water and fertilizer integrated systems
Water and fertilizer integrated technology has advantages such as water and fertilizer saving, time and labor saving, temperature and humidity adjustment, disease reduction, increased yield, improved quality, and increased economic benefits. However, an unreasonable water and fertilizer integrated system not only fails to ensure high-quality and increased production but may also cause waste of labor and water. The following lists several common problems and solutions caused by the use of unqualified water and fertilizer integrated systems for your reference.
1. Excessive sand content in the water source, unreasonable design of the filtration system, easily leading to filter clogging.
Suggestion: 1. Reasonably design the filtration system according to the water source type and water quality; 2. If the water source has a large sand content, in addition to installing centrifugal filtration equipment, a sedimentation tank needs to be built to pre-treat the water.
2. There is no check valve, air inlet and outlet valve, and other protective devices at the head, which can easily cause water hammer, leading to pipe rupture and pump damage. There is no air inlet and outlet valve installed on the water pipe, causing pipe bursting or flattening.
Suggestion: 1. A check valve, air inlet and outlet valve, and other protective devices must be installed at the head of the water and fertilizer integrated system; 2. Air inlet and outlet valves should be installed at places with ups and downs.
3. The water pipe is too long, with too many bends, causing the pipe to be "sucked" flat.
Suggestion: The water source location and pump suction design are unreasonable, resulting in more air in the pipe, which is not easy to discharge; less bends should be used during operation, and the pipeline should be controlled within 20 meters.
